Frogskin Jasper Rough
Frogskin jasper has a very cool frog-like pattern. It tends to be vuggy and the brown areas do not polish. However, the really unusual pattern makes up for the diffiiculty of obtaining a perfect finish. If stones are surface-treated, a more uniform polish can be obtained. Frogskin Jasper polishes with diamond, cerium or tin oxide. Mohs hardness 7.
