Lapis Lazuli Rough
Lapis is easy to cut, but takes a little extra work to get a good polish.
We've found this material takes a reasonably good polish with tin oxide
or diamond, followed with green rouge (Zam is a brand name for green rouge).
Lapis can have interesting figuring that produces very attractive cabochons
and carvings. Mohs hardness 5.5 to 6.
